Use memorable and clever business cards to boost your sales.

Many people use business cards to promote their business and don’t give a lot of thought to what is on their card and how it looks. (As a result their business cards often end up forgotten in a drawer and don’t work that well.) Your goal in business is to stand out in a positive way from all your competitors.  So here are some quick ideas on how to do this well with your business cards

STRATEGY 1: PERFORATE YOUR BUSINESS CARD

Look at this divorce lawyer’s business card. It tears down the middle and has his contact details on both sides of the card. This business card is a clever reminder that this lawyer specialises in relationship splits.

A personal trainer uses the same perforation strategy and has a picture of a big belly that can be reduced by ripping off a perforated section of his business card. (His contact details and other information are all on the reverse side of this photo.)

STRATEGY 2: PRINT YOUR BUSINESS CARD ON NON TRADITIONAL BUSINESS CARD MATERIAL.

With digital printing you can actually print on a huge range of different materials and when you do this you can really stand out.  Here’s a good example for a yoga studio Their business card is actually a mini yoga mat that rolls up. This business card is instantly memorable and highly relevant to the service they offer their clients:
